The Love Roller Coaster: Why My Daughter's New Boyfriend is Crucial to Your Email Copy Success

Stop the presses--my 12-year-old daughter has a boyfriend...

And not just any boyfriend--her first REAL boyfriend. As in "we're dating". Which in 7th grade vernacular means they giggle a lot, make sideways glances, and maybe say "hi" to each other between classes.

But mostly the giggling and sideways glances part.

At any rate, she's walking on air. And I, of course, am playing the grumpy dad part to a tee, making a "People to Kill" list and putting his name at the top ("So is that Colin with one "l" or two?").

Truth be told, seeing my baby girl all goo-goo over some boy gives me mixed emotions. On one hand, I'm tickled that she's experiencing the same butterflies I felt with my first crush. There's few feelings in the world as wonderful.

But on the other hand, there's the inevitable crash-and-burn of the breakup. Could be next month, next week, or even in the next few minutes. But it's going to happen. And my heart is already aching for the pain my daughter will most likely endure.

Reminds me of what a lot of you are going through right now with your email copy efforts...

When you write the email that converts like gangbusters, everything's good. The world is your oyster, because you've finally figured out this whole email marketing thing after so much trial and error. And now you have the keys to the treasure chest.

So you write the next one, expecting to match or even outperform the previous offering, aaaaaand...

Opens are dismal, click-throughs virtually non-existent, and sales....let's not even go there.

Now you're at the other end of the spectrum. Questions abound. Tempers flare. Fingers are pointed. And usually something is thrown. But it really doesn't matter--the end result is still a monumental failure.

So how do we keep this from happening? Easy...

--You close up your business (not going to happen).
--You give up on email marketing altogether (again, not going to happen).
--You keep on moving forward with more and better email copy strategies. (WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER)

The thing to remember is that what worked today won't necessarily work tomorrow. Audiences are fickle--they toy with your emotions and make you THINK they love you...only to suddenly turn-tail and chase after the next flashy floozy, leaving you empty handed and looking foolish.

Just like a teary teenage girl who just got dumped by her soon-to-be-a-corpse ex-boyfriend.

So what do you do to help prevent this? Sadly, you can't. Chances are you'll go through this scenario just like every other business owner has...

However, there IS a method of crafting emails that I've found can put the odds substantially in your favor.

And I've outlined that process in a FREE video right here...

Nothing to buy--simply let me know where to send the video and it's yours.

So go check that out right now, and help eliminate the above situation in your business for good.

In the meantime, I gotta do a background check on this kid. I just KNOW there's a mass murderer in that family someplace...
